A compound based on didecil-dimetyl-ammonium-chloride, a substance whose properties affect the growth of micro-organisms, depressing or even stopping it. Unlike other quaternary ammonia salts of common use such as benzalkonium chloride, didecil-dimetyl-ammonium-chloride is more efficient against

Staphilococcus Aureus, Salmonella and Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, Listeria and Campilobacter.

Specially recommended for the washing and disinfection of all the hard surfaces in the food processing industry, hospitals, healthcare institutions, public places, toilets and wherever the application of the HACCP control plans.

Its antimycotic action makes it suitable for the disinfection of swimming pool areas such as cloakrooms, showers, tub edges, etc. Products appropriate for the cleaning of surfaces in contact with food products.

DILUTION AND USE

Procedure for manual use: In order to obtain the greatest effectiveness of the disinfectant, we recommend o minimum contact time of 5 minutes with pure product before starting to rinse the parts which were previously cleaned and rinsed. Batigerm can be used by spraying, by immersion or with the support of single-use fabrics soaked in the solution at 2 to 3% (200 to 300 ml in 10 l of water).

For daily manual maintenance, a 2% solution is sufficient and no rinsing is required.

Contact time as provided for in the Ministry Registration: 5 minutes for the product as it is; 30 minutes for the product at 4% (400 ml in 10 l of water).

Procedure for use with equipment: If the washing is performed by equipment, a 1% dilution

(100 ml in 10 l of water) in sufficient in an accurately cleaned tank, keeping in mind the need for daily maintenance of the environment and without rinsing.
